We're getting fringy this spring / summer! Forget studs for a bit, i'm not over studs yet, but fringes are growing on me. I've bought my first fringed wedge sandals from MNG 2 weeks ago and I cannot get over them.
Be edgy and work your fringe attitude this season. I've looked up a couple of pieces that I found interesting and would definitely buy.
What's interesting about fashion now is that it's a combination of different eras. Fringes were the it thing in the 20's with all the gorgeous beady and fringe dresses. While in the 70's, there was a hint of suede fringy outfits. And i shall not forget the 90's, where we also saw fringe action that included jeans and denim.
I like to keep it simple yet edgy when dressing up; in case of fringes, i'd go with one fringed item to enhance my outfit and make it stand out. Choose your piece whether is was a poncho, skirt or heels and balance your outfit accordingly with a plain colored jeans, t-shirt or flats when choosing a fringed piece.

One fringed item i'd like to buy? A bag. I've come across lots of fringed bags the last couple of weeks that I've liked. Suede totes in camel tone. Make sure if you're wearing a fringed bag not to wear more fringes in the outfit. Wear the bag with jeans and a plain top and flats for a morning outfit. Uplift your outfit with heels for a lunch date or an afternoon outing. If you feel experimental, go with a checkered shirt, shorts and a fringed bag. Pair that with booties or some flats.
